According to a November 2001 paper published by George Washington
University Professor Nathan Brown, "the Palestinian curriculum is
not a war curriculum; while highly nationalistic, it does not incite
hatred, violence, and anti-Semitism. It cannot be described as
a 'peace curriculum' either, but the charges against it are often wildly
exaggerated or inaccurate."
The finding clearly debunks the one dimensional characterization
of Palestinian textbooks as hatemongering, anti-Semitic screeds
inculcating innocent Palestinian children with hatred against
Jews and fervor for violence.
