PMWATCH - April 4, 2002 -- A massive wave of support for Palestinian rights
and in opposition to the madness of the Israeli war machine is spreading around
the world like wildfire, from Brussels to Paris and Marseilles, from Rome to
London and Berlin, to all the major cities in the United States, to the Arab and
Muslim world, and beyond. And yet, not one word of this in CNN, MSNBC,
FoxNews, ABC, CBS, NBC, and NPR.
Why is that?

Anyone who is lucky enough to watch the BBC, Al-Jazeera, or even the Canadian
CBC, or any other non-US media outlet, can only be struck by the stark
contrast between how the US media is presenting the conflict and how the
rest of the world media is presenting it. Why the gap, and why censorship?
Why not tell the Americans that the version of reality that their government
is presenting is sharply at odds with that of the rest of the world?
Please press the US media to cover the massive international support for
the Palestinians and their sharp opposition to Israeli aggression.
