PMWATCH is a diverse coalition representing people of many ethnic backgrounds and religious faiths coming together to promote peace to oppose ALL forms of violence, be they suicide bombings or the bombing of civilians by IDF forces.  Some of our most powerful letter-writers have been Jewish Israelis and Americans who call for an end to Israel’s racist treatment of Palestinians in the Occupied Territories and in Israel itself.

Jewish-Americans have a proud history of contributing to progressive causes here in the United States, causes which have improved the lives of all Americans.  At the same time, the many thousands of Jewish-Americans who recognize Israel’s human rights abuses often find themselves under attack from pro-occupation Jews, who accuse them of being “self-hating Jews” and even worse.
